Cooking Mama publisher suffers lay-offs in attempt to stay afloat.
In an SEC filing (highlighted by MCV), the firm said that it had recently "implemented a reduction of [its] workforce" to reduce costs, ranging from its development and game-testing department to marketing and support personnel.
"We are currently not developing any significant new games for release in fiscal 2015," the publisher added.
In an effort to stay afloat the company is also seeking a strategic buyout or merger.
