News: Bungie details Destiny's new Prison of Elders co-op mode

Livestream reveals new three player co-op Arena activity.

This new co-op Arena activity will see groups of three players take on waves of increasingly difficult AI-controlled enemies. The more waves Guardians survive, the greater the reward at the game's conclusion. Thankfully, this Prison of Elders mode allows for matchmaking, so you won't have to worry about arranging time with two pals to hook up and try to unlock those Legendary and Exotic rewards. Of course you can still tackle the events with your own Fireteam, too.
