News: PS4 3.5" HDD add-on 'slower than stock drive' - Report

IGN report cites slower install and load times, even when using a faster hard drive.

IGN put Nyko's Data Bank to the test yesterday, replacing the console's internal 500GB 5400RPM hard drive with a 2TB 7200RPM Seagate hard drive, but found that load times and installations actually increased when using the replacement drive.

According to the site, the install time of Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare more than doubled with Nyko's add-on, jumping from 37.82 to 78.59 seconds. Load times suffered, too, jumping from 49.78 to 56.37 seconds.
