News: Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 release date is November 6

There's currently no word on last gen versions of the highly anticipated sequel.

Black Ops 3 is set in a dark, gritty future in which a new breed of Black Ops soldier has emerged, with the lines blurred between humanity and cutting-edge military robotics.

Unusually for such a major release, it will hit stores worldwide on a Friday, not a Tuesday.

In addition, Activision confirmed that customers who pre-order will be granted access to the Black Ops 3 multiplayer beta - details of which will be announced at a later date.
