The one in which no one says anything interesting.

After dabbling with the Now TV app on the PS4 (which is rubbish if you're wondering), I finally got round to giving Wolfenstein a whirl. It's early days, but so far the shooting feels nice and meaty, which is great. The way the game suddenly changes its look when it snaps to cutscenes is a little jarring, but hopefully this will be less of an issue once I've put more time in.

Review: Dying Light

Lights out.

Good news: Dying Light isn't shit. It's actually quite good, in fact. So far it resembles Dead Island meets Far Cry, retaining the melee combat of the former while jettisoning its catastrophic bugs.

It feels familiar – there's no way it couldn't given the developer's heritage, its influences, and the current (and seemingly everlasting) zombie vogue. But Dying Light is a far more technologically accomplished, not to mention confident, game than Techland's other apocalypses, perhaps best emphasised by your first playable view of Harran being from the top of the world, not the...

News: Battlefield Hardline beta date to be announced tomorrow

Visceral 'highly encourages' players to give it a go.

The announcement follows a rumour earlier this week suggesting that the beta is due to go live next Tuesday, February 3.

Once it does go live, though, the beta will be open to all users on Xbox One, PS4, PS3, Xbox 360 and PC, and allow players to try out two multiplayer modes - Conquest and Hotwire - ahead of the full game's release on March 20.

You might also get the chance to revisit Heist, the multiplayer mode featured in last year's closed beta, although EA has yet to confirm whether Battlefield 4 players reached the requirement set out during last week's Community...

News: Dying Light isn't native 1080p on Xbox One - Report

Frame rate more consistent on PS4, too, Digital Foundry says, but Xbox One has the advantage in texture filtering.

While the site acknowledges that it's still trying to determine the exact resolution of the Xbox One version, its initial report suggests that the game runs at a native resolution of 1536x1080 "or something very close to it", leading to a "basic 20 per cent pixel drop in the overall pixel count" when compared with the PS4 version’s native 1080p output.

The Xbox One version also "falters a bit when it comes to sustaining its target [30fps] frame-rate", the site says, running "tangibly worse than PS4, with specific areas of the city and certain sequences operating at a lower...

News: Dying Light won't download on PS4? Here's a fix

PS Store bug won't let you download Dying Light without a bit of outside help.

A bug currently affecting the game appears to prevent it from downloading directly via the PS4 PlayStation Store, with the game's menu simply presenting players with a 'Start' button rather than the option to download.

Attempting to download the game from the PS4 game library doesn't appear to do anything, either.

Until the issue is fixed, however, the PlayStation community has found a temporary solution that sees you forcing the game to download via an external device, such as the PS4 companion app.

Preview : Project CARS (PS4)

Brett drove around in Project Cars to see what lies under the hood of Slightly Mad's racer.

Every new trailer or image of the game has impressed me. Of course, these are produced either by the developers before the game is even up to speed, with a 'best-possible' scenario of an end product, or with an early build of the game running on an Optimus Prime PC, so I remained skeptical about how it might perform on new-gen consoles. Having played the PS4 version, expectedly, it looks nowhere near as good as the screens and trailers want us to believe. What is surprising, however, is that it also doesn’t drive as well as expected, either.
