News: Netflix is trialling in-service advertising on the Xbox 360 app

You'll only see ads for original Netflix content.

The streaming service is testing running advertisements for its own shows at the beginning and end of content when viewing on Xbox 360.

Netflix has responded on Twitter to say it has "zero intention of putting ads on our platform; no change at all in policy."

A comment given to Gizmodo explained the policy further.

"We are not planning to test or implement third-party advertising on the Netflix service," said Netflix. "For some time, we've teased Netflix originals with short trailers after a member finishes watching a show. Some members in a limited test now...
