News: Halo: Master Chief Collection players invited to beta test latest update

Next update hopes to fix broken matchmaking, but it needs public testing first.




The update aims to fix the game's broken "matchmaking experience and party system", with the beta test scheduled to run each evening from tomorrow, January 23 through to Monday, January 26.



To take part you'll need to own a copy of Halo: The Master Chief Collection, be registered for the Xbox One Preview Program, be located in North America and have been invited by 343. The developer says that it is targeting players "with the highest levels of engagement" in Halo: MCC.



The update is expected to be between 1-2GB although a public release date has yet to be...
