"I think we'll have a version of [Star Fox] ready at E3 that everyone can play," Miyamoto told YouTube channel Smosh Games. "But one of the questions that we often get is how is the GamePad being used in a particular game, and Star Fox is a game where having two screens is really important. It works really well."
Nintendo has yet to show the new Star Fox publicly, but revealed last year that the game would take advantage of the GamePad's touchscreen to display a view of the ship's cockpit.
