News: Windows 10 to support Xbox One wireless controller with new adapter

Future wireless accessories will also be supported.




Launching later this year, a Wireless Adapter will make it possible to use current Xbox One controllers and future devices wirelessly on PC. The Xbox One controller is already supported on Windows PC, but requires the use of a cable.



Support for the controller looks likely to come in pretty handy with news that the ID@Xbox program is expanding to help developers bring their titles to both Xbox One and Windows 10. More than 1,000 independent studios already have Xbox One dev kits in hand.
