News: Xenoblade Chronicles 3D won't fit on a standard Nintendo 3DS SD card

You'll need an 8GB card or bigger to download next month's JRPG.




Instead, players interested in purchasing the JRPG from the Nintendo eShop will need to purchase a larger 8GB or bigger microSD card to download and install the game. The physical version of the game will not require a larger microSD card than those included with the consoles.



The game is the first 3DS title to require a larger amount of memory than that included with the console, and also the first 3DS game incompatible with older Nintendo 3DS consoles. To play the game you'll need to have picked up a New 3DS or New 3DS XL.
