News: UK Video Game Chart: Mortal Kombat X takes No.1 as it secures the second biggest launch of 2015

The franchise's biggest UK launch yet.

PS4 sales accounted for a hefty 61 per cent of MKX sales, with 38 per cent on Xbox One. The game's opening week sales were only second to Battlefield Hardline, which reportedly sold more units during its launch week than Mortal Kombat X.

GTA 5 takes No.2 thanks to a 94 per cent sales increase following its launch on PC, with Battlefield Hardline dropping to No.3 after a four week run at the top.
