News: Need for Speed reboot will require an online connection

EA promises "nice" benefits for making users stay connected.

Asked by a fan not to make the same mistake Microsoft did with its original plans for an always connected Xbox One, @NeedforSpeed replied:

"NFS will require an online connection, but the benefits are nice. More variety and a more rewarding experience with friends."

The account didn't offer any additional details.

An Xbox Store listing earlier this week outed a November 3 release date and info on five core game concepts: Speed, Style, Build, Crew and Outlaw.
