Starbreeze has been working on the device since 2011.

News: There's another VR headset in development, and you'd never guess who it's from news
The new headset will be demoed at E3 this week using the firm's upcoming The Walking Dead FPS from developer Overkill Software.



Each eye has a 5 and half inch panel with a 2560x1440 resolution, which is pretty impressive. There's also positional tracking, with the video above showing how the headset is able to virtualise a play gun the user is holding.

Starbreeze-owned InfinitEye is the firm behind the headset, but 505 Games, Toshiba and Lionsgate are also involved.
