News: Sony is looking into bringing back Parappa The Rapper

But licensing issues are "complex", PlayStation boss warns.




Discussing the tale of how the firm brought back music-based platformer Vib-Ribbon with Wired, Layden explained: "Of course, now everyone wants me to bring out Parappa the Rapper. Which we are looking at. But that's a more complex rights package."



Whether Parappa works out or not, though, Layden says he may consider bringing other popular franchises back, too.



"It's us trying to be more open at SCEA," he continues. "If someone comes to me about something that they would like to have back on the platform, and it's in my power to make it happen… I mean, why wouldn’t...
