Provided to NeoGAF member Mama Robotnik by an "unnamed source", the pre-alpha footage allegedly shows off some of the game's opening sequences, introducing players to the game's opening area and its new protagonist Asher.
The game is said to have been in development at Silent Hill: Shattered Memories developer Climax for three years before being cancelled by Square Enix in 2012. According to Mama Robotnik's report, the game was scrapped after it was decided that the game would not meet Square Enix's sales projections.
