Upcoming feature leaked by Sniper Elite dev.
A reference to the unannounced feature is listed on the website of the developer's upcoming shooter Zombie Army Trilogy, stating:
"Note for PS4 users: The ability to set a background should be available in an upcoming System Software update."
PS4 currently only supports the option to set a dashboard theme or change the background colour. It does not allow users to set custom images as the background.
Sony has yet to formally announce details on PS4's next system update or confirm whether it has plans to introduce custom backgrounds.
